The Association of Young Farmers and Ranchers, Asaja Granada, will organize on June 22 an institutional and technical conference at the Carmen de los Mártires, where the Ordinary General Assembly and the Extraordinary General Assembly will be held jointly, along with various sessions aimed at farmers and ranchers. This event will also mark the official start of the commemorative activities for its 50th anniversary.

As detailed in an informative note, the conference will open at 11:00 a.m. with the celebration of both assemblies, where the points included in the agenda related to internal management and the organization's activities will be addressed.

Subsequently, around 11:45 a.m., the presentation of Asaja Granada's Acelera Pyme Office will take place, a project aimed at promoting the digital transformation of self-employed individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises, and agricultural holdings through advisory, information, and support actions in the technological field, on which work has been ongoing since January 20, 2026.

By midday, participants will be able to attend a brief informative session focused on the taxation in the IRPF of aid granted for damages caused by storms, especially in light of the doubts generated by the Government regarding the tax treatment of regional aid, with the aim of clarifying its main practical implications.

The main event, scheduled for 12:15 p.m., will be dedicated to the 50th anniversary, with the purpose of recognizing five decades of work in defense of the interests of farmers and ranchers in the province. In this framework, the commemorative logos will be presented and the calendar of events scheduled from September to June of next year will be advanced.

During the celebration, a brief historical retrospective of the organization will be offered, from the creation in 1977 of the precursor entities -Asaga and Jóvenes Agricultores-, their integration in 1989 under the name Asaja Granada, and their trajectory to the present day. In addition, the new website and the renewed communication strategy, which includes the launch of social media profiles, will be unveiled.

The closing, scheduled for 12:45 PM, will be led by the president of Asaja Nacional, Pedro Barato, who will deliver a lecture on "Present and future of agriculture and the CAP" in which he will address some of the main challenges facing the agricultural sector in the current economic and regulatory scenario.
