The president of Asaja Córdoba, Fernando Adell, has conveyed this Monday his "sincerest congratulations" to the new delegate of Agriculture, Fishing, Water, and Rural Development of the Junta de Andalucía in Córdoba, Raquel López, to the new delegate of Sustainability and Environment in the province, Daniel García-Ibarrola, and to the former delegate of Agriculture and now managing director of the Agency for Agricultural and Fishing Management of Andalucía (Agapa), Francisco Acosta, to whom he has offered "a hand to work together for the Córdoba countryside".

Through a note, Adell wished them "the greatest success in this new stage of responsibility at the forefront of fundamental areas for the development of the Andalusian agricultural sector and, especially, of the province of Córdoba".

The head of Asaja has emphasized that "the Córdoba countryside faces important challenges, from the profitability of farms, to water management, administrative simplification, plant and animal health, or the conservation of the natural environment, issues that require constant dialogue and coordinated work between the Administration and agricultural professional organizations".

For this reason, Adell has insisted on the "full willingness of Asaja Córdoba to collaborate with the new officials" of the Junta de Andalucía, "from institutional loyalty, dialogue, and knowledge of the reality of the countryside", with the goal of "promoting measures that improve the competitiveness of agricultural and livestock farms and contribute to the economic and social development of the Córdoba rural environment".

Likewise, Fernando Adell has wanted to highlight the appointment of Francisco Acosta as managing director of Agapa, a position that, as he has indicated, "represents recognition of the work done in recent years at the head of the Territorial Delegation of Agriculture, Fishing, Water, and Rural Development of the Junta in Córdoba".

For the president of the agricultural employers' association, Francisco Acosta "has demonstrated a deep knowledge of the reality of the Córdoba countryside, maintaining close and constant dialogue with the agricultural sector and always showing willingness to address the problems of farmers and ranchers", for which Adell has expressed his confidence that "this experience and management capacity will contribute to strengthening the important work that Agapa carries out in support of the Andalusian agri-food sector".

In this line, Adell has conveyed to the officials of the Board that in Asaja Córdoba they will find "always the outstretched hand of those of us who work every day to defend the interests of our farmers and ranchers. We are convinced that dialogue and institutional collaboration are the best way to face the present and future challenges of the agricultural sector."

Finally, the president of Asaja Córdoba has wished Raquel López, Daniel García-Ibarrola, and Francisco Acosta "a stage of successes in the service of Andalusia," trusting to "maintain a fluid and constructive relationship, which will benefit the entire agricultural and livestock sector of the province of Córdoba."
