The councilor of the Sea, Marta Villaverde, has emphasized the relevance of the "Food Craft" label as a key tool for identifying artisanal canned goods.
These statements were made during a visit to the facilities of Conservas Sotavento, on the occasion of which she presented the company with this specific official distinction for fish and seafood preserves.
This recognition, granted by the Galician Agency for Food Quality (Agacal), authorizes the company to incorporate the Xunta de Galicia label on its products.
The person in charge of the Sea has highlighted the continued support of the Xunta for the development of this business project. The Ministry of the Sea granted almost 200,000 euros in aid to Conservas Sotavento to support various investments aimed at the transformation and marketing of seafood products.
