The acting president of the Board and PP-A candidate for re-election, Juanma Moreno, traveled this Wednesday to the headquarters of the Andalusian Parliament, in Seville, to collect his deputy's credentials for Malaga corresponding to the XIII legislature, just one day before the constitutive plenary session, which will take place this Thursday starting at 12:00 PM.

Moreno accessed the regional Chamber building after the meeting of the Governing Council, around 1:00 PM, accompanied by members of his Presidency team, and there he was awaited by the Secretary General of Relations with Parliament, Paloma Hoyos, who received him upon his arrival.

The popular leader went to the parliamentary facilities to complete the accreditation process as a deputy of the XIII legislature, an essential step to be able to take possession of his seat in the constitutive session.

As a reminder, the provincial electoral boards must summon the elected deputies to collect the credentials that they later deliver to the Parliament along with their declarations of activities, assets, and interests, and their declarations of compatibility.

During his visit, the acting president also had the opportunity to see the provisional plenary hall set up in the Alberto Jiménez Becerril Hall of the institution, as the usual hemicycle is closed for restoration work. This alternative space will host the constitutive plenary session this Thursday.

After touring this new plenary hall, Juanma Moreno left the Parliament, where he had already gone on Tuesday afternoon to hold a first meeting with Vox before the start of the legislature and to "address a possible agreement for the governability of Andalusia," according to a note sent after the meeting.

Sources from both parties have indicated to Europa Press that a new meeting is not scheduled for this Wednesday, although it is not ruled out that it may be held tomorrow, Thursday, before the constitutive plenary session.

The spokesperson for Vox Andalucía, Manuel Gavira, who participated in the meeting with Moreno on Tuesday, also approached the Parliament this Wednesday to see the new provisional plenary hall.

Neither Moreno nor Gavira wanted to reveal to the media present at the Parliament when a new meeting between the two parties could take place.
