The spokesperson of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, Carlos Martínez, will use his first control question to the president of the Junta of Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, to reproach him about how far the 'popular' leader is willing to go to maintain power "instead of acting, once and for all, as president of this Community."
On the other hand, the spokesperson of the Mixed Group and representative of UPL, Alicia Gallego, will focus her first 'face to face' with Fernández Mañueco on the elimination of tolls on the AP-66 and AP-71 highways, and will ask the head of the regional Executive if the Junta has been "sufficiently proactive" to achieve the elimination of these payments.
These will be some of the issues that the regional president will have to answer on Thursday the 10th, in the first control session of the XII Legislature. In this stage, the Cortes have four parliamentary groups, with Popular and Vox as government partners and, against them, only two groups in opposition: the Socialist and the Mixed, made up of UPL, Soria ¡Ya! and Por Ávila.
Likewise, the deputy spokesperson of the Socialist Group, Patricia Gómez Urbán, will direct her intervention to the Second Vice President of the Junta, Isabel Blanco, to ask the 'popular' leader if she equates domestic violence with gender violence. In turn, Nuria Rubio will ask the vice president of the Junta, Carlos Pollán, from Vox, if he believes that a boy or a girl loses the right to receive protection by crossing a border.
Among the topics that the socialists will bring to this first control session of the PP-Vox Executive are also the serious crisis facing the primary sector, the problem of depopulation, the reduction of subsidies to the unions, or the situation of abandonment of the Bierzo Hospital. In addition, they will demand explanations for the loss of European funds linked to the project "Valpuesta, cradle of Spanish."
The socialist representatives will also question the Junta's officials about the collapse of part of the facade of the Palacio de los Hurtado de Mendoza in Almazán, a matter that the representative of Soria ¡Ya!, Ángel Ceña, will also inquire about. Similarly, they will seek clarifications on the actions of the regional Executive in the extinction of the fire in Burgohondo, a question that will also be raised by the representative of Por Ávila, Pedro Pascual.
As for the representatives of UPL, they will ask the Board if it has acted with the necessary diligence in the construction of the new Professional Conservatory of Music of León, as well as for the health management carried out in the last months in the provinces of León, Salamanca, and Zamora.
