The Court of Violence Against Women of Santiago keeps proceedings open against a family doctor from the city, following the complaint filed by a patient who attributes a supposed sexual assault to him.
According to the complaint, first reported by "elDiario.es", the woman places the episodes between 2019 and 2021, and maintains that during that period the doctor allegedly made inappropriate comments and touched her, always according to the complainant's account.
Sources from the Santiago health area conveyed to Europa Press their "maximum respect for the ongoing judicial procedure" and emphasized the Sergas's "interest in collaborating" with the investigation.
In this regard, they indicated that the judicial authority requested "specific information that has already been provided," but they specify that they "do not know the causal facts" that have given rise to the case, which is why they insist that "no assessments will be made."
