The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has called for the involvement of the State to support the neighbors affected by the earthquakes registered in Granada, emphasizing the need to provide them with "timely information" in order to reduce the distress and uncertainty they are experiencing.
In a message disseminated on the social network 'X' and reported by Europa Press, Feijóo explains that he maintains direct contact with the president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, to know "first-hand" the evolution of the situation in the province.
In his publication, he recalls that "southeastern Spain has suffered hundreds of seismic movements in the last week, with epicenters in Granada and its metropolitan area --he has written--. The people of Granada and the inhabitants of the areas affected by the earthquakes deserve attention and support from the State."
Feijóo also refers to the climate of unease that has been generated among the population and emphasizes the importance of providing them with clear and updated data. "There are people who have left their homes and sleep outdoors. It is essential to offer timely information so that Granada does not continue to live with distress and uncertainty," he asserts.
