The deputy of Por Andalucía Ernesto Alba reproached this Friday the president of the Junta and leader of the PP-A, Juanma Moreno, for having allowed Vox to "place" as vice-counselor of the Andalusian Government a person who "was a candidate to lead Falange".
The also general secretary of the Communist Party of Andalucía (PCA) has spoken out in an audio sent to the media after the appointment of Rafael Sánchez Saus as vice-counselor of Tourism, Justice, Deregulation, and Local Administration became known, the ministry that will be headed by the Vox leader in Andalucía, Manuel Gavira, as second vice president of the regional executive.
Alba emphasized that "at this point, it doesn't surprise us too much that the Government of the Popular Party and Vox ends up placing a former leader of Falange as number two of a ministry, but that it doesn't surprise us doesn't mean it isn't extremely serious".
The parliamentarian of Por Andalucía has insisted that "if there are ten fascists at a table, and you decide to sit down calmly with them, there are already eleven fascists at that table", and added that "Moreno Bonilla has not only sat down with the far right, he has brought them into San Telmo, given them a vice presidency, and now allows them to place someone who was a candidate to lead Falange in the Andalusian Government".
According to the representative of Por Andalucía, "there is no trace left of that supposed moderation" of Juanma Moreno, whose "mask fell off a long time ago", and he has considered that the Andalusian president "has decided to openly follow the path" of the leaders of the United States, Argentina, and the Community of Madrid, Donald Trump, Javier Milei, and Isabel Díaz Ayuso, respectively.
Ernesto Alba concluded that "one must choose which side of History one is on, whether with those who support a black and white Spain, that of the coup d'état, the dictatorship, and the curtailment of freedoms, or with those who fought to bring democracy and continue fighting for a progressive Andalucía, with rights, equality, and memory". "We are very clear about it, Andalucía does not deserve to go back to the past, no matter how much Moreno Bonilla wants to disguise it as moderation", he emphasized.
