The spokesperson for Junts, Josep Rius, has conveyed his congratulations to the PP candidate for the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, for the victory achieved this Sunday in the regional elections, and has deplored that Catalonia once again becomes "an element of confrontation between PP and PSOE".
In a press conference this Monday, Rius stressed that "Some things do not change much whether the right or the left does them," reproaching that, despite the political change in Andalusia, the dynamic of confrontation between the two major state parties regarding Catalonia remains intact.
Moreno has emerged victorious in the Andalusian elections against the PSOE candidacy led by María Jesús Montero, which has achieved its worst historical result in this community. Despite the clear victory, the 'popular' will require the support of Vox for the PP candidate to be invested as president, in a formula similar to what has already occurred in Extremadura, Aragón, and Castilla y León.
