The itinerary begins on Saturday, June 6, in Madrid, where Leo XIV will land at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport and will be officially received before attending the Royal Palace. Afterward, the Pope will continue his journey to Barcelona, with events at the cathedral, the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, Brians 1, Montserrat, the church of Sant Agustí, and the Sagrada Família, where the inauguration of the Tower of Jesus Christ is scheduled. The final stage of the visit will take him to the Canary Islands, with events in Gran Canaria and Tenerife focusing especially on the migratory reality.
