The spokesperson for Vox in Les Corts Valencianes, José María Llanos, has called on the central Government to proceed with the repatriation of "all immigrants who are illegally" in Spanish territory, as well as "foreigners who do not contribute with their effort and their work to the national economy, eroding the welfare state of Spaniards". Along these lines, he has once again defended "national priority for access to social aid and housing programs".
Llanos has made these statements this Friday before the media in Alicante, where, together with the Vox spokesperson in the City Council, Carmen Robledillo, he has presented an institutional declaration of the party in which they oppose the "massive regularization of illegal immigrants".
The Vox leader has assured that Pedro Sánchez's Executive and its "partners" in Parliament have promoted "an extraordinary regularization process for more than half a million immigrants who are illegally in Spain" after, as he has denounced, deliberately evading "debate and vote in the Congress of Deputies".
"That is why in Vox we say national priority yes, because they are the ones who contribute, they are the ones who sustain the public system and because they are the ones who have earned it," the spokesperson emphasized, underlining that their approach focuses on Spaniards who maintain the system with their contributions.
At the same time, he has remarked that it is "the same coordinated action in all city councils" in which Vox has institutional representation, and has specified that its objective is to clearly convey what they understand by "national priority" within "the areas of competence" set by current regulations.
Regarding the position of the Church and the employers' association on the regularization of migrant persons, Llanos has pointed out that they should be the ones to explain it and has recalled that, in her opinion, small business owners and the self-employed represent "99 percent of the business fabric of Spain" and suffer "harassment from Sánchez's taxation." "They will know why the employers' association wants almost slave labor, cheap labor," she remarked.

For her part, Carmen Robledillo has urged the Alicante City Council to "not" implement "extraordinary measures" aimed at facilitating "the massive regularization of immigrants". "That no additional personnel be hired, that there be no overtime for civil servants and that the ordinary service that this City Council carries out be performed," she has demanded.
Likewise, he has asked that "all the required legal requirements" be checked in "all applications that enter this City Council", that the vulnerability reports be "strict" and that "all facts be objectively evaluable by a full technical commission through personal interviews", in addition to reflecting "the personal situation of the money they may have", "registration" and "other aid".
Robledillo has also insisted on the need to ensure that municipal services continue "their course" normally because, he said, "the Alicantines come first". "If the Alicantines have to be governed by an appointment, the people who come to regularize also. Therefore, they will have to have an appointment and the Alicantines will always be first," he concluded.
