The Barcelona-based firm, integrated into the NRRO (Navarro Tax & Legal) group, advises on company sale and purchase processes, valuations, and due diligence for companies valued between 3 and 250 million euros. So far in 2026, it has closed five published transactions, with international buyers such as Foussier, Phenna Group, and Molins.

Capittal Transacciones, a mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory firm based in Barcelona, has surpassed 60 specialized professionals and reinforces its position as one of the reference advisors in the sale and purchase of companies in the Spanish mid-market, the segment of companies valued between 3 and 250 million euros.

Capittal is an M&A boutique specialized in three areas: company sales (sell-side), where it assists entrepreneurs and business families throughout the divestment process; company acquisitions (buy-side), for industrial groups, private equity funds, and family offices; and company valuation and due diligence services, where integration with the NRRO (Navarro Tax & Legal) group allows it to cover the financial, tax, labor, and legal aspects of each transaction with its own team.

Five Transactions Closed in 2026
So far in 2026, Capittal has advised on five published transactions: the sale of Selk, an industrial supplies distributor with a strong presence in northern Spain, to the French group Foussier; the sales of Gabinete Técnico de Prevención and MDS High Quality Prevention, both leaders in occupational risk prevention, to the international group Phenna Group; the sale of Obres Tècniques Lloret, specialized in industrial construction and high-end housing, to Calaf Grup; and the double sale of Pavimentos Industriales Pavirat and Lithium Concrete to Molins, a leader in comprehensive construction solutions, with five more transactions in the closing process, and four LOIs pending acceptance.

With these transactions, the firm has accumulated over 200 corporate transactions advised since 2008, with an aggregate value exceeding 900 million euros, with eight offices and coverage throughout the national territory.

A market at historic highs
The firm's positioning coincides with a record market moment: the Spanish mid-market completed 742 operations in 2025, 10% more than the 676 in 2024, for an estimated volume of 18.9 billion euros, according to the main transactional data aggregators (TTR Data, Mergermarket). The average ticket per operation rose from 24.1 to 25.5 million euros, and 38% of the operations involved at least one foreign counterparty.

"The Spanish mid-market entrepreneur today has more options than ever to sell their company well: industrial buyers, national and international funds, and, increasingly, family offices. Therefore, competitive, orderly, and confidential processes must be carried out," states Samuel Navarro, Partner at Capittal.

The firm anticipates that investor appetite will be maintained in 2026, driven by available liquidity, improved financing conditions, and pending business succession processes in thousands of Spanish family businesses.
