The July programming brings together music, sport, architecture, urban culture, and experiences linked to the new CUPRA Raval in the brand's space in Barcelona
CASA CUPRA Raval presents its July programming with the premiere of the RAVAL MUSIC SESSIONS, a new music cycle inspired by the DNA of the CUPRA Raval that brings together artistic proposals connected with the energy of the city. The first sessions will feature two of the most unique voices on the current scene: Maria Arnal, who redefines the boundaries between singer-songwriter and experimentation, and Erik Urano, a benchmark capable of breaking down the barriers between rap and electronic music.
RAVAL MUSIC SESSIONS
On July 2nd, at 7:00 PM, Erik Urano, a key artist in experimental rap and electronic music, known for his ability to fuse poetry, social criticism, and digital sound, will open the programming. On this occasion, he will invite the public to delve into the universe hidden behind Stalker, his latest album. The event will begin with an interview by Frankie Pizá and will continue with a full listen of the 10 tracks from the album, which the artist will break down one by one to share with the audience.
On July 9th, at 7:30 PM, it will be the turn of Maria Arnal, one of the most unique and innovative voices in contemporary music. Her research into voice and sound technology has redefined the boundaries of current music, moving naturally between pop, electronic music, and performance. On this occasion, she will come to the space to exclusively present her new, unreleased single. The event is conceived as a close and intimate experience that will include vinyl, exclusive merchandising, and her unmistakable show with lasers and careful scenography.
CASA CUPRA LIVE SPORTS
With the start of the Tour de France in Barcelona, CASA CUPRA Raval joins the excitement of the Grand Départ. On July 4th, it will offer live, at REV EL BAR, the broadcast of the first stage: a 19.6-kilometer team time trial, starting at 5:05 PM and with the last arrival scheduled for 7:16 PM. A short, intense, and spectacular route that promises the best cycling from day one.
REBEL TRAINING
On July 14, CASA CUPRA Raval will welcome summer with a special edition of the CUPRA Running Tribe, which will culminate at the Beso Pedralbes space with an exclusive after run. The event expects to bring together more than 1,000 runners in a collective experience that combines sport, community, and an active lifestyle.
CASA CUPRA Gallery
Throughout July, the exhibition Regenerations: China and Spain in the Mirror will also continue, a show curated by Manuel Blanco and Li Xiangning, with the collaboration of Héctor Navarro and Gao Changjun, which reflects on urban regeneration as a key strategy for the future of cities.
The exhibition brings together projects from Spain and China that explore new ways of intervening in the built heritage, neighborhoods, and urban landscapes from a perspective of sustainability, innovation, and cultural dialogue. The public will also be able to participate in guided tours with curator Manuel Blanco, who will offer an expert reading of the works and the processes that articulate the exhibition.
CASA CUPRA Talk
The CASA CUPRA Raval conversation program will kick off on July 6, at 6:30 p.m., with a new edition of Moments Estel·lars. Organized by The New Barcelona Post, the session will bring together Montserrat Tura, Oriol Nel·lo, and Custodia Moreno to reflect on how the era of the former mayor of Barcelona and former president of the Generalitat, Pasqual Maragall, laid the groundwork for many of the projects that continue to transform the city and define its future today.
The programming will continue on July 7, at 7:00 p.m., with an Afterwork El Periódico featuring Jorge Azcón, president of Aragón. A lawyer by training and former mayor of Zaragoza, Azcón will address the main challenges of a key community for understanding the territorial, economic, and political pulse of Spain.
For his part, on July 16, at 7:00 p.m., the CASA CUPRA Talk Carlos Ferrater and OAB: open architecture will take place. During this meeting, Carlos Ferrater will review a professional career of more than five decades in which he has shaped some of the most emblematic buildings and urban interventions in Barcelona, Spain, and internationally, including the space that CASA CUPRA Raval occupies.
The session will also include the screening of the documentary OAB 2005 - 2025 and a subsequent meeting with the architect himself, which will allow for a deeper understanding of his work and his vision of contemporary architecture.
ELECTRIC SATURDAY
On Saturday, July 11, a new edition of Electric Saturday arrives, a day focused on the new CUPRA Raval that will combine electrification, innovation, and brand experience. The day will feature two morning sessions, at 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM, respectively.
In addition, CASA CUPRA Raval and CUPRA City Garage Madrid continue to bring the CUPRA Raval, the brand's new 100% electric urban vehicle, closer to the public, which has already accumulated 59 sales since its launch between both locations.
