The Maxis series offers more space, support, and options for tall and heavy users
LiberNovo participates in IFA 2026 from September 4 to 8 at Messe Berlin, where it presents its range of dynamic ergonomic chairs in pavilion 7, stand 7.2a-105. The Maxis series is the star of the stand, along with LiberNovo Omni Pro and Omni SE. LiberNovo Omni Pro has also been nominated in two categories of the IFA Innovation Awards: Best in Design and Best in Tech for Good & Accessibility.
IFA is one of the leading consumer technology and home appliance events, connecting brands, retailers, buyers, and media. Its slogan for 2026, "The future is now" ("El futuro es ahora"), highlights the technology that is transforming everyday life. As hybrid work, video games, and content creation extend the time spent sitting, LiberNovo presents chairs as an active support system rather than as a static object.
Maxis Series: designed for larger bodies
Maxis has been specifically designed for taller, wider, and heavier users, rather than being simply an enlarged version of a standard chair. Its seat depth of 52 cm (20.5 inches) and its wider cushion provide more space and support for the thighs. The multi-density foam is firmer at the back and softer towards the front, while a reinforced frame, an aluminum alloy base, and adjustable armrests in four directions create a stable platform for long work sessions, video games, and creative activities.
The three versions offer five reclining positions, from 105° to 160°, with progressive springs that help maintain support in each position. Maxis Manual uses a control to adjust the depth of lumbar support. Maxis Electric adds motorized lumbar support and the guided back stretching OmniStretch. Maxis Airflow incorporates Active Airflow seat ventilation for prolonged sessions in warmer environments.
Dynamic ergonomics that follows the body
The Dynamic Ergonomics principle of LiberNovo is based on the idea that support must adapt to changes in posture, work rhythm, and rest, instead of requiring the body to remain in a fixed position. Also presented at IFA, Omni Pro combines motorized lumbar adjustment, OmniStretch, and Active Airflow. Omni SE, with manual adjustment, offers a practical entry point to this approach.
Support for Special Olympics New York
LiberNovo sponsors Special Olympics New York by donating Omni ergonomic chairs to support the office teams at the Albany headquarters, the New York office, and the Long Island office. The sponsorship reflects LiberNovo's commitment to inclusion and well-being. Behind the journey of each athlete are people who coordinate programs, manage volunteers, and build community, often without recognition. By supporting these teams, LiberNovo continues its work of designing with real human needs in mind wherever they arise: in the study, the office, or the playing field.
