The general shareholders' meeting of Aedas Homes has ratified Javier Lapastora Turpín as an independent director for a new statutory term of three years, following the proposal submitted by the appointments and remuneration committee of the residential developer's board of directors.
The company held its meeting this Wednesday, July 8, in Madrid, in a context in which it is already fully integrated into Neinor Homes, after the latter completed the acquisition of Aedas in March for 923 million euros.
Lapastora joined the Aedas Homes board as an independent director in September 2017. Previously, he was a partner at PwC between 2002 and 2015, a period during which he led the Construction and Real Estate area of PwC Spain and served as managing partner of the audit division between 2011 and 2015.
Currently, he holds various positions in other entities. Since 2021, he has been an independent director of Banco Alcalá (Crèdit Andorrà Financial Group); since 2017, he has been a member of the supervisory board and chairs the audit committee of Mostostal Warszawa (Acciona's Polish subsidiary); and since 2016, he has acted as an independent director of Servicios Financieros Carrefour.
In addition to Lapastora's renewal, the meeting has given the green light to the rest of the items included in the agenda, including the approval of the accounts for the fiscal year ending March 2026 and the authorization for the board of directors to carry out the derivative acquisition of own shares.
