Aiblu, a firm specializing in regulatory compliance services, has closed the acquisition of 100% of Azentúa, a Madrid-based consultancy focused on sustainability and environmental engineering, with the aim of strengthening its business area linked to sustainability. After the incorporation of Azentúa, the group expects to reach a turnover close to 9 million euros, have five offices, and add a workforce of around 100 professionals.

In a statement, Aiblu has remarked that this operation allows it to launch a new strategic line focused on sustainability, reinforcing its capabilities in the environmental field and completing its "integral" offer of ESG services, which already covered the social and governance areas.

The company has indicated that the purchase is integrated into its growth plan, both organic and inorganic, which it has been developing since Stellum Growth entered its shareholding in July 2023.

This is the third acquisition that Aiblu has carried out in the last two years, after the integrations of Segurdades in April 2025 and AT Group in March of this 2026, and it represents "a new step in its strategy of consolidation as a reference player in the field of regulatory compliance and regulatory services". The company has emphasized that it continues to analyze new opportunities for inorganic expansion.

Azentúa is a consultancy focused on environmental engineering and sustainability, with activity in environmental risk analysis, natural capital valuation, climate change mitigation and adaptation, the development of environmental technical studies, and the design of sustainability strategies throughout the entire value chain.

After the operation, Luis López-Cózar Alvarez, founder and partner of Azentúa, joins the Aiblu group as partner responsible for the sustainability area, from where he will lead the development of the Sustainability business line.

The general director of Aiblu, Cecilia Carrasco, has underlined that the integration of Azentúa represents a "key step" in its positioning as a comprehensive ESG services platform. "It reinforces our capabilities in the environmental field and allows us to offer our clients a more complete value proposition in an increasingly demanding regulatory environment," she has pointed out.

The president and founder of Aiblu, Sergio Salcines, has highlighted that the purchase of Azentúa constitutes "a new milestone" in the growth strategy initiated two years ago and strengthens "its commitment to continue expanding capabilities in key areas for clients". In his opinion, with this integration they take "a very relevant step" to position themselves "as a reference player in ESG services".

For his part, Luis López-Cózar has stated that joining Aiblu is a "very exciting opportunity". "We are joining a project with ambition for growth with which we share vision and values, and which will allow us to offer comprehensive solutions while maintaining our closeness and specialization," he pointed out.

In the transaction, Rocío Cruces Torres and Llana Consultores have acted as legal and commercial advisors to the buying party, while BDO has been responsible for the 'due diligence'.
