AltamarCAM Partners has closed a deal with Cleon Capital to take over several 'family offices', including some Spanish ones, and thus join the capital of the Italian company Labomar.
The management company will inject new resources into the project and enters Labomar through the minority stake that various 'family offices' have held since 2020.
In this new phase with AltamarCAM, Labomar will maintain the organic and inorganic growth strategy initiated in 2020, which has allowed it to triple its turnover and accelerate its international expansion through acquisitions in Canada, Spain, and, more recently, Finland.
At the same time, the company will continue to allocate investments to its production and logistics capabilities, expanding its product catalog and strengthening its international footprint.
Cleon Capital led a group of Italian investors in 2020 to take a stake in the company and acted as anchor investor in its stock market debut. Later, in 2023, the British fund Charterhouse launched a takeover bid (OPA), supported by the founder of Labomar and the investors of Cleon Capital, with the aim of leading a new phase of expansion.
In 2024, Cleon Capital accompanied the management team of Labomar in the acquisition of the Spanish company Laboratorios Entema, supporting the growth and internationalization plan promoted by Charterhouse, which has recently been completed with the acquisition of the Finnish nutraceutical firm Pharmia.
Labomar is an Italian company dedicated to the development and manufacturing of advanced and customized nutraceutical solutions, with a turnover exceeding 140 million euros.
