Ascentiel, participated by the Belgian Cobepa and by Amundi funds, has reached an agreement to acquire a majority stake in the Concentra group, according to the company itself.
The founder of Concentra and the management team will reinvest alongside Ascentiel and will continue as shareholders of the group, while BlackFin Capital Partners, a reference shareholder since 2022, has opted to divest all its stake.
Concentra will continue operating under its current brand and structure. Both companies have emphasized that there will be no changes for clients, brokers, or staff.
The combination of the Concentra Group with Ascentiel's activities in Spain and Portugal will create an Iberian group with revenues close to 62 million euros and around 370 employees. At the international level, the new platform expects to exceed 150 million euros in revenue by 2026.
"I am particularly excited about the possibility of combining the knowledge and operational assets of Ascentiel International - our successful subsidiary in Spain and Portugal - and Concentra, which perfectly complement each other, to drive the joint development of our business activities," stated Ascentiel's CEO, Julien Ben Lahcen.
The current management team will retain their responsibilities, with Javier López-Linares as executive chairman, Carlos Gómez Pascual as managing director, Emilio Navasqüés as financial director, and Inés Montenegro as transformation director.
