Cimic, the Australian subsidiary of ACS, has been awarded a new contract in Thailand to equip a data center campus for NTT Global Data Centers located in Bangkok, as the company has communicated.
The assignment covers the supply and installation of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as cooling and air conditioning equipment for the data rooms, in addition to the support infrastructures and systems linked to the complex.
"The demand for digital infrastructure continues to grow globally, requiring experienced partners capable of delivering highly complex and mission-critical facilities. This contract reflects the trust our clients place in our group's capabilities and strengthens our position in the data center sector," said ACS CEO and Cimic Chairman, Juan Santamaría.
In parallel, this same week ACS has announced the first long-term contract for its global data center platform, created together with BlackRock (GIP), for its Dallas-Fort Worth facility in Texas (United States).
This platform, named Coravel, will be responsible for channeling the joint developments of the joint venture between ACS and GIP. The project in US territory contemplates a capacity of 140 megawatts (MW) and will be executed by Turner, ACS's subsidiary in the United States.
