The Spanish Association of Financial Advisors and Planners (EFPA España) has signed a new collaboration agreement with La Française, the asset management division of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale in Spain, with the aim of "jointly promoting initiatives that strengthen financial culture among investors and highlight the importance of quality professional advice," as stated in a press release.
The pact includes, among other measures, the joint organization of courses, conferences, and seminars that will count towards the recertification of EFPA España's different accreditations: European Investment Assistant (EIA), European Investment Practitioner (EIP), European Financial Advisor (EFA), European Financial Planner (EFP), and the EFPA ESG Advisor certification.
These certifications, they recall, are fully aligned with the requirements of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), within the regulatory framework of the MiFID II directive.
In this context, La Française will actively reinforce continuous training and help certified financial advisors maintain their professional qualifications updated and renewed. Likewise, it will be involved in various initiatives promoted by the association.
In turn, EFPA España has emphasized that it will work closely with the management company in the communication and dissemination of activities aimed at deepening knowledge about the latest trends in portfolio management and the contracting of financial instruments.
"In an environment marked by volatility and uncertainty in the markets, it is crucial to have a wide range of specialized entities with which to develop joint initiatives that strengthen investors' financial education and highlight the essential role of financial advice in society," highlighted the president of EFPA España, Santiago Satrústegui, when referring to the alliance.
With this agreement, the Spanish Association of Financial Advisors and Planners continues to expand its network of institutional collaborations, which already exceeds 80 associated entities, including major national and international banking and management institutions, and counts more than 36,000 certified advisors in Spain.
