Greenvolt closed 2025 with an attributable net profit of 5.3 million euros, which means abandoning the red figures of almost 115 million euros recorded in the previous fiscal year, according to the company itself.
The Portuguese renewable energy group, present in Spain through Greenvolt Next in the distributed generation area and through Greenvolt Power in the 'utility-scale' business, reached revenues of 777 million euros last year, more than double the 351 million euros of 2024, driven by the execution of its large-scale asset rotation strategy.
The gross operating profit (Ebitda) stood at 207.8 million euros in 2025, a historic high, thanks above all to the performance of the 'utility-scale' segment (+192.7 million euros), thus reversing the negative result recorded in the previous fiscal year.
The group's 'utility-scale' project portfolio currently totals 12.8 gigawatts (GW), of which Greenvolt has developed, at least up to the 'ready to build' (ready to build) phase or sold, 5.1 GW, which represents an increase of 1.2 GW compared to the previous year.
Regarding the asset rotation policy, the company met its goal for 2025, by selling more than one GW in facilities located in Poland, Romania and Spain.
In terms of investment, the group allocated 800 million euros in 2025, while maintaining a solid financial structure, with cash and cash equivalents close to 204.5 million euros and 68% of its debt referenced at a fixed rate.
The CEO of Greenvolt, Joao Manso Neto, emphasized that 2025, after a complicated 2024, was "a year of stabilization and strengthening of execution in the group's three business segments, and in particular confirmed the effectiveness of the strategy to achieve asset rotation objectives."
As for the outlook for the current fiscal year, the executive stated that the company plans to "intensify asset rotation processes, increase its portfolio of ready-to-build projects to 6.3 GW, continue improving biomass performance and consolidate and expand the distributed generation segment".
