Intrum has reached an agreement with the Polish company PragmaGO to exclusively assume the management of its unpaid credits ('non performing loans') in Spain, in addition to being in charge of the monitoring and control of low-value files in the country.
With this pact, Intrum will offer comprehensive management services for PragmaGO's loan portfolio in the Spanish market, as detailed by both companies in a joint statement.
The alliance allows Intrum to "continue expanding its activity" with non-bank financial entities, 'fintechs', and alternative financing platforms, reinforcing its presence in this segment.
PragmaGO has a consolidated position in Poland and other European countries, and focuses on providing digital financing solutions, including integrated finance, cash advances, and deferred payment formulas aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises.
"SME financing is evolving rapidly, with more digital, agile, and integrated models on commercial platforms, and our experience allows us to contribute value in a key area such as responsible management of unpaid assets," said the CEO of Intrum Spain, Enrique Tellado.
