Paradores de Turismo will participate again in the celebration of "Las Noches del Patrimonio," an event that will reach its ninth edition on the upcoming Fridays, September 11 and Saturday, September 12, taking place simultaneously in the Spanish cities declared World Heritage City by UNESCO.

For this edition, the public hotel chain has prepared a specific program with cultural, artistic, and gastronomic experiences in twelve of its accommodations. The offer will include guided tours, concerts, and menus designed to highlight the history of its buildings and the urban areas where they are located.

This time, the network will be present through the Paradores of Alcalá de Henares, Ávila, Cáceres, Córdoba, Cuenca, Ibiza, Mérida, Salamanca, Santiago de Compostela, Segovia, Úbeda, and Toledo.

Due to capacity limitations and with the aim of providing careful attention to each visitor, all proposals will require advance reservation directly at each establishment.

In the central area, the Parador of Alcalá de Henares has planned a guided visit to present its new artistic work, which will be complemented with a welcome cocktail for the diners of the restaurant.

The Parador of Ávila, for its part, will organize visits in the morning and afternoon to showcase the history of the Palacio de Piedras Albas, a 16th-century construction where it is located.

Likewise, the Parador of Segovia will focus on its brutalist architecture and its permanent collection of geometric art, while the one in Toledo will combine sunset views over the city with a gastronomic proposal accompanied by live music.

In the south and west of the Peninsula, the Parador of Cáceres has designed night guided tours to highlight the Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture of the two palaces that comprise it.

In Córdoba, attendees will have the opportunity to visit the caliphal quarry of the cave of La Arruzafa in small groups, finishing the tour with a glass of Montilla-Moriles wine.

Additionally, the Parador of Mérida will offer in the cloister of its old convent a themed dinner based on the "Menú Medea," in memory of the famous performance by actress Margarita Xirgu, while the Palacio del Deán Ortega of Úbeda will organize guided tastings of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

The proposal is completed in the north, the plateau, and the Balearic archipelago with other unique activities.

The Parador de Cuenca will host a live music concert on Saturday in the courtyard of its 16th-century convent. In turn, the Hostal de los Reyes Católicos in Santiago de Compostela and the Parador de Salamanca will conduct guided walking tours of their respective historic centers.

Finally, the new Parador de Ibiza joins this cultural event for the first time with guided tours and a themed dinner with live music, which will take a journey through the local cuisine of the different Heritage Cities.
