The executive president of the Spanish space services company PLD Space, Ezequiel Sánchez, has indicated that the company "does not rule out" making the leap to the stock markets.

"It is not a short-term objective and we cannot rule it out either, I always tend to say that it is usually more of a consequence than an objective," he stated during his participation this Thursday in a round table on the defense and aerospace sector at the MedCap 2026 Forum, organized by Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) at the Stock Exchange Palace.

When asked if they are considering listing on a market such as BME Scaleup to reinforce their financing and gain visibility, the executive specified that this move "may occur as a consequence of their 'cap table' structure."

"As of today, we have 56 lines in the 'cap table', in some of which there are 600 or 700 investors, because we have done 'crowdfunding' and we have financed the project by land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace, we have financed it through all possible domains," he explained, admitting that trading on the Stock Exchange "could be an alternative."

In this regard, he emphasized that to make the move to the stock market it is essential to have a stabilized income statement and that, in PLD's case, "they still have to gain that maturity."

"The objective is the launch of Miura 5 in the second half of this year and we have contracts that we are beginning to monetize and that significantly change the income statements," he pointed out, concluding that the eventual stock market listing "is something that may happen, but they do not have it as a structured agenda."
