Quantica has intervened in the last three years in a total of 81 public self-consumption photovoltaic projects, which reach a joint power exceeding 8,884 kilowatts (kWp) and an accumulated EPC volume of 6.63 million euros (VAT excluded), according to the company.
These actions have been deployed across a very wide range of public facilities, including health centers, nurseries, schools, universities, municipal buildings, theaters, sports complexes, transport infrastructures, essential public services, and various administrative facilities.
In 2024, Quantica has accounted for 40 projects linked to public tenders, with an aggregate power of 2,488 kWp and an EPC volume of 2.21 million euros. In the previous year, it executed 21 projects, with a higher power of 3,140 kWp, and an EPC volume of 2.84 million euros. In the current year, still underway, it already totals 20 projects, reaching 3,256.57 kWp and exceeding 1.5 million euros in EPC volume.
Among the most notable initiatives are works for the Ajuntament de Súria, with the Súria Salt Deposit project; for the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona, with Ecoparc 3 in Sant Adrià de Besòs; as well as for Pompeu Fabra University, the University of Girona, Pablo de Olavide University, or the Regional Energy Agency of Castilla y León, among other entities.
The project portfolio demonstrates remarkable territorial capillarity, as Quantica has developed public activity in communities such as Catalonia, Andalusia, Region of Murcia, Valencian Community, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, Community of Madrid, Extremadura, and Balearic Islands, among others, serving administrations and public bodies of very diverse scale and nature.
The Head of Tenders at Quantica, Raúl Samblás, emphasized that for the company to be part of these initiatives "means directly contributing to the electrification of the country's public structure, revaluing and energetically protecting its infrastructures, and actively contributing to optimizing public spending: they generate economic savings for the administration and, ultimately, for taxpayers as a whole."
