Saudi Arabia's newly created national airline, Riyadh Air, has put tickets on sale for its new routes that will connect Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) with Madrid and Malaga, operations that will start in mid-July.

The company will launch the only direct connection between the Spanish capital and Riyadh with a route that will begin operating on July 17, 2026, with a schedule of four flights a week.

In addition, Riyadh Air will launch a seasonal link with Malaga that will be available from July 14 to September 8, 2026, with three weekly frequencies. In a statement, the airline emphasizes that this expansion highlights its "commitment" to offering "highly sought-after" leisure routes.

Ticket sales began this Tuesday, June 30, both on the Riyadh Air website and through travel agencies. Passengers have the opportunity to become "founding members" of the airline's loyalty program, Sfeer. Flights between Riyadh and the cities of Madrid and Malaga will be operated with Riyadh Air's Boeing 787-9 'dreamliner' aircraft.
