Soltour has reviewed the data of its summer programming to outline an updated profile of the Spanish traveler. The analysis reveals that different styles coexist when organizing vacations: classic destinations continue to be the first choice, while there is a growing demand for alternative options that mix culture, nature, genuine experiences, and relaxation on the coast.

According to the reservations managed by Soltour, places like Riviera Maya, Punta Cana, Samaná, the island of Sal (Cape Verde), Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Mallorca, and Menorca continue to capture a good part of the summer demand, backed by the comfort and security of the "All Inclusive" format.

In parallel, less common destinations like Albania, Montenegro, Madeira, and the Algarve are registering a significant increase in interest from the Spanish public, who lean towards proposals with a strong component of local culture, natural environments, and authentic experiences.

The tour operator also emphasizes the rise of circuits and combined trips, which facilitate integrating cultural tourism and beach relaxation in the same itinerary. Thus, the traveler aims to link the cultural vitality of the cities with disconnection by the sea, turning their vacations into a global experience.

Regarding booking timelines, Soltour identifies a marked division between a proactive traveler, who organizes several months in advance to secure spots on long-distance routes or complex circuits, and another more spontaneous profile, who decides with just a few weeks or even days of margin. This combination of behaviors sustains a continuous rhythm of bookings for the months of August and September.

"The great finding of this analysis is to verify that the Spanish traveler has substantially sophisticated their way of planning the summer," highlighted the commercial director of Soltour, Luis Santos, who points out that traditional destinations continue to be a guarantee, although there is a real interest in hybrid proposals that combine city and beach.
