Suma Impact Foundation, the foundation driven by Suma Capital, and Triodos Bank have closed a strategic agreement to channel financing towards territorial regeneration and just transition projects with social and environmental impact.
The cooperation is materialized in "Territories of Impact", a "matchfunding" program designed to support small entities working on social cohesion and environmental recovery. This initiative combines citizen contributions with institutional contributions to amplify the reach of the chosen projects.
In this framework, Fundación Triodos will be responsible for managing the "crowdfunding" platform and supporting the participating organizations in the preparation and development of their campaigns, while Suma Impact Foundation will provide a non-reimbursable funding pool of 20,000 euros for the initiatives and will collaborate in the identification, selection, and monitoring of the projects.
For now, the platform has selected two territorial proposals linked to Alt Empordà (Catalonia): "Pioneers of our time" and "The Regen Institute".
The collaboration is integrated into the launch of the Suma Alliance, a network that brings together financial, business, social, and academic actors with the aim of scaling projects with impact.
In this context, both organizations will jointly promote initiatives for knowledge generation, dissemination, and connection related to the ecological transition, health, education, and territorial cohesion.
