The president of Diaphanum, Rafael Gascó, along with several founding partners of this securities firm, have opted to divest their stake in the company's capital to allow the entry of other executives and employees, as detailed by the company in a statement.
According to Diaphanum, the operation implies a "generational change" and has been structured through a 'management buy out' process. The transaction still needs to receive the approval of the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
After this move, Gascó will remain linked to Diaphanum as non-executive chairman, while the rest of the partners will retain their executive responsibilities within the organization.
"This is the right time to make way for a new generation of professionals who have been key to Diaphanum's growth and consolidation. We face this new stage from a solid position, with a fully consolidated project and the support of our clients," Gascó stated.
The fund Kartesia has intervened in the operation, providing the necessary financial resources to carry it out, facilitating "an orderly transition that reinforces the stability of the business," according to the entity.
Diaphanum closed 2025 with a base of 2,000 clients and a volume of assets under management close to 4,000 million euros. The firm has more than 100 professionals spread across its offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Vitoria, Alicante, Murcia, Burgos, and Vigo.
