The EH Bildu parliamentarian Ander Goikoetxea has criticized that the administrative simplification law promoted by the PNV and the PSE-EE is designed to fit "certain business projects," among them those linked to the "group" of companies and institutions that the Minister of Industry, Mikel Jauregi, has referred to on various occasions.
Goikoetxea has shown a particularly harsh stance towards the Bill of urgent measures for the simplification and streamlining of Administration for sustainable economic activity, whose processing was initiated this Monday in the Basque Parliament with the appearances of various agents and specialists in the field.
As the coalition itself explained in a note, EH Bildu shares the theoretical objectives of this legislative initiative driven by PNV and PSE-EE, given that "it is clear that to start an economic activity, the bureaucratic burden is increasingly greater."
Therefore, the sovereignist formation agrees with the promoters of the text that "it is necessary to simplify the relationship between those who wish to promote new economic projects and the Administration."
However, the coalition argues that, although the PNV and PSE bill mentions the streamlining of administrative procedures, "the truth is that upon analyzing its content, it is observed that the measures it proposes do not really have that objective, but rather to facilitate certain business projects."
Goikoetxea, referring to the consortia of Basque companies and institutions established in recent months to enter the capital of various companies, has pointed out that the proposal "is a list of measures and changes 'made ad hoc' for that group that the Minister of Industry talks about so many times."
