The parliamentary spokesperson for the PPdeG, Alberto Pazos, expressed this Friday "all the affection and all the solidarity" of the Galician popular party towards the Venezuelan people and towards the Galician families residing in that country, after the double earthquake of magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5 registered last Wednesday.
In statements made to the media, Pazos stressed that "they will always count on the support and commitment" of the Galician institutions with the aim of helping to alleviate this situation as soon as possible.
Through her account on the social network X, the general secretary of the PPdeG, Paula Prado, indicated that they are "very attentive" to the evolution of the situation in Venezuela after the earthquakes that occurred on Wednesday (midnight on Thursday 25 in peninsular Spain and the Balearic Islands).
"Much strength to all Galicians who live or have their family there, as well as to Venezuelans in Galicia. All our solidarity with the country," she stated.
