The Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Ángeles Vázquez, has highlighted the relevance of the Supreme Court ruling that annuls the ruling of the TSXG that annulled the Bustelo wind farm, located between the municipalities of Carballo and Coristanco (A Coruña), stating that "not a single environmental damage was proven" and that "there was no fragmentation".
In response to a question from the popular deputy Gonzalo Trenor, who highlighted the "six successes of the Xunta" against the "six failures of those who do business by blocking renewables" and made several accusations against the BNG, Vázquez celebrated that the Supreme Court's resolution "sides with civil servants" who, she stressed, "were slandered with falsehoods about their professionalism".
"As if it were a match, it's a 6-0," the minister summarized, adding that "behind that there was denialism," emphasizing that "there are no greater deniers than those who do not opt for green energy."
In this regard, she reiterated that "no environmental damage" could be proven and called on the BNG to abandon "hypocrisy" and side with "climate neutrality." "They don't slander the Government, they slander Galicia," she reproached.
In her second turn, the minister, after alluding to several aspects of the high court's ruling, insisted that "the wind energy blockade" also means "a no to progress."
