The deputy spokesperson for the PSIB in the Parliament, Marc Pons, has emphasized that the party maintains its "utmost respect for judicial action" and that it is acting with "utmost forcefulness" after the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard entered the federal headquarters of the PSOE, on Ferraz street, as part of a National High Court investigation into the so-called 'Leire case'.
"Utmost forcefulness, as the Socialist Party has demonstrated every time a case has been proven, naturally," Pons stated during the press conference following the Spokespersons' Board this Wednesday, where he avoided elaborating on the search of the socialist headquarters.
The PSIB leader responded only in these terms when questioned about the UCO's actions in Ferraz and then diverted attention to the opening of oral proceedings against the president of the Consell d'Eivissa, Vicent Marí, for an alleged crime of prevarication in the 'La Vida Islados' case, as well as to the summons of Marga Prohens' Chief of Staff as an investigated party for possible irregularities in the hiring of a driver.
