At least five people have lost their lives, including a boy and a girl, in a new series of Israeli attacks against the neighborhoods of Al Nasr and Al Rimal, in the west of the city of Gaza, as well as in an additional attack against a school that housed displaced persons in Deir al Balá, in the center of the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian medical sources have confirmed the death of two Palestinians, one of them a minor, following an airstrike by the Israeli aviation on the Al Nasr neighborhood, in the western area of the Gaza capital.

The attack targeted a civilian vehicle and has also left several injured, some in critical condition, according to the Palestinian agency WAFA, which has indicated that the fatalities were a father and daughter.

In parallel, an Israeli drone has attacked a group of residents in the Al Rimal neighborhood, also in the west of the city of Gaza, causing the death of one person and injuries to several others.

At the same time, in the east of Gaza, Israeli forces have opened fire from military vehicles since early Sunday morning, while the aviation has bombed the Al Sajra shopping center, also located in the main city of the Palestinian enclave.

Artillery impacts have also been recorded in the neighborhoods of Al Tufá and Al Shuyaiya, in the eastern part of the city, along with attacks carried out by Israeli military quadcopters.

The Israeli Army has extended its operations to other areas of the Strip, with artillery fire against a school that served as a shelter for displaced persons in Deir al Balá, in the center of the territory, where a child has died.

The city of Deir al Balá has also been hit by fire from Israeli tanks, as well as the north of Rafah, in the south of the Gaza Strip, since early hours of the day.

The attacks have continued throughout the day, in a context of increasing the number of victims in the enclave, which now stands at least 1,344 dead and 4,481 injured since the last ceasefire came into effect on October 11, and 73,651 dead and 174,592 injured since the escalation began on October 7, 2023, according to data released on Sunday morning by the Gaza Health Ministry, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
