Russian authorities have lashed out this Wednesday against the Government of Denmark, which they accuse of "giving support to terrorism" by the "regime of Ukraine" for allowing the establishment of Ukrainian military industry in its territory, whose production would subsequently be destined for the equipping of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, has denounced that the installation of these companies in Denmark to "defend the interests of the terrorist and criminal regime of Kiev is a criminal act in itself that undermines the idea of reaching a diplomatic solution to the conflict" and that, in her opinion, it only contributes to "aggravating it".
"Of course, we see this as a way of financing and supporting terrorist activities," she stated, according to information released by the TASS news agency. Along these lines, she accused Copenhagen of "being obsessed with hatred towards Russia" and of showing itself willing to "look the other way when Ukrainian companies get involved in corruption scandals."
Furthermore, she maintained that the Danish authorities would be prepared to "compromise the most basic security requirements in industry and to ignore the opinion of their own population" on this matter.
"The concept of Human Rights, freedoms, and humanism is completely trampled. It is clear that the weapons and production components that will be deployed in Denmark by Ukrainian companies will be used for future terrorist attacks," she added, warning that such attacks would target "the Russian population and civilian infrastructure."
