King Felipe VI has called the president of Aragón, Jorge Azcón, to express his concern about the fire declared in Las Peñas de Riglos (Huesca), which has already devastated about 16,600 hectares and has more than a thousand professionals deployed in the firefighting efforts.
As communicated this Sunday by the Royal House, the monarchs have asked Azcón to convey "their support and affection to the mayors of the municipalities affected by the fire."
In addition, Felipe VI contacted this Saturday with the president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, to inquire about the situation in Granada after the earthquake of magnitude 5 recorded in the town of Alhendín, as well as about the evolution of the forest fire declared in Niebla (Huelva).
