The Council of Ministers meets this Friday extraordinarily to approve the first measures to face the impact of the Iran war on the Spanish economy. Once the meeting concludes, the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, will appear before the media to report on the comprehensive response plan to the consequences of the escalation of tension in the Middle East.
As announced by the Executive's spokesperson minister, Elma Saiz, at the press conference following Tuesday's ordinary Council of Ministers, it is expected that the set of announced measures will be "proportional, delimited, and focused on limiting the impact of the rise in fuel and electricity prices".
