Princess Leonor will travel to the Region of Murcia on June 3 to receive the highest distinctions granted by both the autonomous community and the municipality of San Javier, where she is completing her final year of military training at the Air and Space Force Academy, as reported by Zarzuela.
During this institutional visit, it is planned that the Princess of Asturias will receive the Gold Medal of the Region of Murcia, the highest decoration awarded by the community presided over by Fernando López Miras, in addition to the Gold Medal of the regional Assembly.
Subsequently, she will move to San Javier, where at the town hall she will be awarded the Gold Medal of the Villa and her appointment as Adoptive Daughter of the municipality will be approved.
The official visit of the heir to the throne to Murcia will take place a few weeks before she completes her three years of military training in San Javier, which has led her to successively attend the academies of the Army, the Navy, and currently, the Air Force.
With these honors granted by the community and the town where she has completed the last course of her military instruction, Murcia and San Javier join the recognitions already granted by Aragon and Zaragoza, as well as by Galicia and Marín.
