The PSdeG deputy Patricia Iglesias stated this Monday that the failures detected in the Galician PAU "were unacceptable" and demanded that "responsibilities be clarified," although without turning this matter into "a political settling of scores."
In statements to the media, the socialist parliamentarian insisted that "no student can pay the price" for errors that she once again labeled as "unacceptable."
For this reason, she demanded that "responsibilities be clarified throughout the chain, including in the Ministry of Education, which took two days to come out" to give explanations.
However, she warned about "the interference of the Xunta in the tests" and stressed that this situation "cannot become a political settling of scores." "What concerns us are the students," she concluded.

On another matter, when asked by journalists, she referred to the appointment of the new management of the Sergas, a stage for which she expressed "total distrust."
Patricia Iglesias assured that the public health system in Galicia "is in absolute collapse" and suffers from "absolute deterioration, especially in the case of Primary Care." In her opinion, "The PP does not bet on public healthcare, it bets on concertation," as opposed to the model defended by the PSdeG, "100 percent public healthcare with reinforcement of Primary Care."
Furthermore, when questioned by the media, Iglesias reiterated her respect "for the principle of presumption of innocence" in the Zapatero case and indicated that the current situation is "a very early stage of the judicial process."
"We are not going to destroy computers with hammers, we are open to collaborating with the investigation," she pointed out ironically, emphasizing the "respect and collaboration with justice" that the socialists maintain.
