The Royal Household has released a summary video this Thursday showing different moments of the three years of military training of Princess Leonor in the Army, the Navy, and the Air and Space Force, including some scenes that had not been seen before.
Zarzuela has shared the recording, about two and a half minutes long, on its official social media profiles and has highlighted that during this time Leonor "has made her own, from the highest responsibility, the values that define the Armed Forces: honor, valor, discipline, and loyalty".
In the images, the Princess of Asturias can be seen participating in maneuvers alongside other cadets, performing various duties aboard the Juan Sebastián Elcano, piloting a Pilatus PC-21, and practicing fencing, among other scenes that capture her time at military training centers.
Leonor will receive her commissions as a lieutenant in the Army and the Air and Space Force, as well as ensign in the Navy in July 2027.
The heiress has just completed the third of the three academic years into which her military preparation was organized, which has successively taken her through the General Military Academy (AGM), the Naval Military School (ENM), and the General Air and Space Academy (AGA).
In Zaragoza, the Princess of Asturias completed basic military instruction with first-year students and, after swearing the flag, joined the second-year cycle. Her training continued in Ferrol, with third-year students from the Naval School, with whom she undertook the training cruise on the training ship Juan Sebastián Elcano. She finished the course in San Javier a week ago, where she learned to fly a Pilatus PC-21 and received the Grand Cross of Aeronautical Merit.
She is now on the verge of starting her university stage, which will begin in September. She will study Political Science at the Carlos III University of Madrid, a four-year degree, which she will combine with her institutional commitments.
