The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has confirmed that Spain will allocate one billion euros throughout 2026 to reinforce military support for Ukraine, so that the Spanish contribution since the beginning of the war now stands at almost 4 billion euros.

Furthermore, Sánchez has announced that the Executive will promote "co-production and co-manufacturing" with Ukrainian companies linked to the defense sector, with the aim of strengthening industrial collaboration between both countries.

“And with that purpose today there have been different signings both from the Ministry of Defense as well as from different companies that have expressed their interest in co-producing jointly with Ukrainian companies,” Sánchez has pointed out.
