The legal coordinator of Vox and head of the party delegation in Brussels, Jorge Buxadé, announced this Monday that the formation will file a lawsuit against the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, for alleged crimes of prevarication, collaboration with terrorism, omission of the duty to assist, and injuries, following their actions in response to the massive entry of immigrants in Ceuta at the end of July.

In an appearance before the media, Buxadé explained that the Political Action Committee (CAP) of Vox has given the green light to the filing of this lawsuit in the meeting held this Monday, although he did not specify the date on which it will be formalized. He also announced that the legal action will also be directed against the Secretary of State for Security, Aina Calvo.

The legal representative of Vox reiterated, moreover, the initiative to activate Article 102 of the Constitution in order to put Sánchez and other members of the Executive on trial for an alleged crime of treason. He recalled that Vox, with its 32 deputies, does not have sufficient support on its own, as 88 signatures are required. "It remains pending that 56 deputies join the true action that needs to be carried out," he pointed out.
