The Tour de France has suffered an unexpected turn this Sunday. Jonas Vingegaard had to abandon the race after a hard fall in stage 15, when approximately 20 kilometers were left to the finish line.
The Danish cyclist, second in the general classification, could not continue after the impact and was attended to by medical services before being transported by ambulance.
In the absence of a definitive official medical report, the images showed the rider with clear signs of pain and concern about a possible injury to the collarbone.
A fall that changes the general classification
