The global ranking platform Billionhands has published a list with the cheapest gas stations in Spain based on user opinions. The ranking is based on the collective experience of drivers and seeks to offer a reference to help consumers make daily spending decisions.
According to the company, its system differs from other classification models because brand reputation is built from verifiable user votes. This process is supported by technology certified by AENOR and by BILL, an artificial intelligence developed by the company itself, combined with human interaction to guarantee, according to the platform, a “transparent and traceable” system.
The price of the oil
The Billionhands ranking arrives at a time of tremendous fluctuations in the oil price. After taking a dizzying and ascending path after the attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran, and surpassing at first hour on Monday 119 dollars both in the case of Brent –reference in Europe–, as well as the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) –in the United States–, it then traded below the 100-dollar threshold, once the G7 left open the possibility of resorting to its strategic crude reserves in a coordinated manner with the International Energy Agency (IEA).
Thus, in the final part of the day in the European markets, the Brent quotation slowed its climb and stood at around 99 dollars per barrel, still close to 7% above last Friday's close, but around 17% below the intraday high of 119.40 dollars reached hours earlier.
In parallel, the WTI barrel retreated to 95.49 dollars, which represented 5% more than the price at which Friday's session ended, although it remained 20% below the peak of 119.43 dollars registered during the morning.

“Billionhands is born with the objective of helping people make the best decisions in areas such as consumption, gastronomy or technology. In a moment like the one we are currently living in, in which something as everyday as refueling fuel is posing a problem, drivers also need references based on the real experience of other users, not on paid lists or editorial criteria. That is exactly what this ranking offers,” explains Nicolás Luca de Tena, founder of Billionhands.
