The Vox candidate for the Presidency of the Junta de Castilla y León, Carlos Pollán, reiterated this Tuesday that the party aspires to be part of the regional Government after last Sunday's elections, in which they obtained 14 representatives, one more than in 2022. At the same time, he warned that his party will demand “concrete measures, deadlines and guarantees of execution.”

Pollán has indicated that he has already personally conveyed his congratulations to the PP candidate, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, winner of the elections by reaching 33 procurators, two more than in the previous election. He added, furthermore, that in that conversation both agreed that "they will talk."

Along these lines, he has stressed that Vox has been “clear” from the beginning. “We said we wanted to govern and we continue to say it.”

“We have had a good result, we have surpassed all the milestones that the party had in elections and we want to influence the policies of Castilla y León with a concrete program and with concrete measures, deadlines and guarantees of execution,” he pointed out, to then note that, from there, “what comes next will be evaluated.”

Regarding the option raised by the socialist candidate, Carlos Martínez, about a possible electoral repetition, Pollán has stated that he is “little concerned” about what “the left” expresses. “The left cannot govern in Castilla y León, we already said it before the elections began, and that continues to be a reality that the polls have said so,” he stressed.

“The first thing we want is a change in Castile and León and in many policies,” he/she has concluded.
