The spokesperson for ERC in Congress, Gabriel Rufián, has criticized this Sunday the absence of forces "to the left of the PSOE" with representation in the regional elections of Castilla y León, and has warned that "not doing something" to prevent this situation constitutes "pure negligence".
"Zero seats to the left of the PSOE. Not doing something (or doing the usual) is pure negligence," Rufián has pointed out in a message published on the social network 'X'.

In recent months, the republican deputy has promoted the discussion about the future of the left and has reiterated the convenience of seeking formulas of cooperation among the forces situated to the left of the PSOE, defending a plurinational candidacy.
This proposal by Rufián, however, has not received the support of parties like Podemos, which considers that articulating the project solely around “electoral calculation” can only lead to blurring and, ultimately, to dismantling the political space located beyond the PSOE.
