Iran carried out this morning a new barrage of projectiles against areas in southern and central Israel, an attack that has been answered by the Israeli Army with the announcement of another military offensive on targets located in the west of the Islamic republic. For now, no casualties have been reported on any of the fronts.

The Iranian missiles have had as their main target the port city of Eilat, in the southern tip of the country. For now, it has been confirmed that some projectiles have impacted the area and that Israeli defenses have intercepted a missile equipped with cluster munition, without further details having emerged, according to information provided by the Army to the “Times of Israel”.

At the same time, the Israeli Air Force has carried out a new series of "extensive" aerial bombardments in western Iran, according to what the Israeli Army itself has communicated, in attacks "directed against infrastructure facilities of the Iranian regime."

Killing Benjamin Netanyahu

In parallel to the military escalation, the propaganda struggle continues with the warning launched this Sunday by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, which has made public its intention to assassinate the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Iranian elite body has mentioned in a veiled way the striking absence of Netanyahu in the meeting held on Saturday by Israel's security leadership, a circumstance that has triggered conspiracy theories about the possibility that the head of the Israeli government had been injured in one of the attacks launched by Iran.

“If this criminal child killer remains alive, we will continue pursuing him and we will kill him,” declared the Revolutionary Guard in its official medium Sepah News.

In recent hours, Iranian authorities have also intensified their accusations about an alleged campaign of covert operations by the United States and Israel, whom they accuse of organizing false flag attacks to hold Tehran responsible for bombings against the civilian population of the region, as suggested by Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.

Accuses United States of planning an attack on its own territory

The Secretary of National Security, Ali Larijani, has gone even further by stating that the U.S. government would be involved in a plan to carry out an attack on its own territory, of a magnitude comparable to those of September 11, 2001, with the aim of attributing responsibility to Iran.

“I have heard that the remaining members of the Epstein network,” he declared in reference to the US Government and the investigation into the deceased businessman and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, “have hatched a conspiracy to create an incident similar to 9/11 and blame Iran. Iran strongly opposes such terrorist plans and is not at war with the American people,” he stated.
