The top national leaders of the main parties running in the regional elections on March 15 in Castilla y León will travel this Friday, the 13th, to Valladolid capital to support their candidates in the final campaign events coinciding in the city.

PSOE

Thus, the general secretary of the PSOE and president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, will be alongside the socialist candidate, Carlos Martínez, in the last rally of the electoral campaign, scheduled for 6:00 p.m. again in the Millennium Dome and in which the former president of the Government will also participate José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and the Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente.

Pedro Sánchez already accompanied Carlos Martínez at the start of the campaign in a joint rally held in Burgos last Thursday, February 26, six hours before the official start of the 15 days to request the vote. Both met again at another event in Soria last day 7, the second Saturday of the campaign.

PP

The Popular Party will return to the Valladolid Fair to celebrate the closing act of the electoral campaign, in which the candidate for re-election, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, will once again count from 19:00 hours with the support of the national president of the party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo. Both had only coincided until now in one rally, the first Saturday of the campaign -February 28 in Ávila-, as they have developed their respective caravans separately.

After the big party events in Valladolid, both Alfonso Fernández Mañueco and Carlos Martínez will end the day in Salamanca and in Soria, respectively, the provinces for which they run as heads of list.

Vox

For its part, Vox has called the “great end-of-campaign event” starting at 7:30 p.m. in Zorrilla Square in Valladolid, where the national president of the formation, Santiago Abascal, and the candidate for the Presidency of the Junta, Carlos Pollán, will once again share the stage, as has already happened on a dozen occasions since the start of the campaign, in which they have also made joint morning visits to different points of the community.

We can

In these elections, in which IU and Podemos are running separately -in 2022 they ran jointly under the brand “Unidas Podemos”-, both candidacies have again opted for Valladolid to close the campaign, just like last Saturday, when they held their central events there.

The ‘purples’ have chosen the Esgueva Civic Center for their final event, which will start at 18.00 hours. The candidate of Podemos-Green Alliance for the Presidency of the Junta, Miguel Ángel Llamas, will again be accompanied by the general secretary of Podemos, Ione Belarra, with whom she has coincided on three occasions since last February 27 to ask for the vote.

Belarra was with Miguel Ángel Llamas on Monday, March 2, at the presentation of the “Demolitions Mañueco” truck that has traveled the streets of Castilla y León, at the central campaign event on Saturday 7 and Wednesday 11.

In Common

On the other hand, the “En Común” coalition -IU, Movimiento Sumar and Verdes Equo- will close the campaign at 19:00 hours in the booth installed on Santiago street, in an event that will feature the presence of the general secretary of the Communist Party and deputy, Enrique Santiago.

The candidate for the Board, Juan Gascón, has received during the campaign the support of different figures from the parties that make up this choral candidacy, among them the coordinator of IU, Antonio Maíllo; the Minister of Youth and Children, Sira Rego, and the coordinator of the Sumar movement, Lara Hernández, on Saturday 7; the second vice-president and Minister of Labor, Yolanda Díaz, on Wednesday 11, and the Ministers of Culture, Ernest Urtasun, and of Social Rights, Pablo Bustinduy, on the 4th and 12th, respectively.
