The Government of the United Arab Emirates has communicated this Friday the interception of seven ballistic missiles and almost thirty drones from Iran, in the context of the new military escalation in the Middle East triggered after the bombings two weeks ago carried out by the United States and Israel.

The Emirati Ministry of Foreign Affairs has indicated that, with these latest neutralized devices, the accumulated balance since Iran began responding to said attacks already amounts to 285 ballistic missiles, fifteen cruise missiles and 1,567 drones shot down by the country's air defense systems.

The Foreign Affairs department has also confirmed the death of six people and 141 injured as a result of this offensive. At the same time, it has insisted that the country is “fully prepared and ready to face any threat and that it will firmly confront any attempt to undermine the security of the State”.
