Seven people have been injured this Sunday after the partial collapse of the roof of a hotel in Benidorm, as reported by the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU)

The incident: collapse right in the hotel

The alert was received at 14:20 hours. Part of the establishment's roof collapsed for reasons that have not yet been clarified.

The incident has caused injuries to seven people who were inside.

The injured

The health services attended to five men and two women with contusions.

An 8-year-old boy and a 78-year-old man were discharged at the scene.

The other five affected, aged between 33 and 80, were transferred to health centers.

Emergency device

The CICU mobilized several sanitary units: SAMU, Basic Life Support, and the Non-Assisted Transport one

Also participated Red Cross in the care of the injured.

Without confirmed causes

For the moment the causes of the collapse have not been communicated.

The authorities keep the investigation open to determine the origin of the incident.
